Peaceful countryside just 30 minutes from the Piazza San Marco. The Casa Rossa is a traditional Venetian lagoon house tastefully restored by the owner. It is situated in the middle of the vineyard, just 1 minute from a vaporetto stop (Capanonne, boats every hour 24/24). The vaporetto goes to Venice and also the airport (with a change in Burano).
The island of San Erasmo, which is actually part of the City of Venice, is famous for its vegetables which is why it is sometimes called "Venice's Garden". There is a beach on the island as well as a restaurent, several inns, a bank and a grocery.
